I'd say that my favorite bookish moment of the year was receiving an ARC for the first time. It was for The Archived (which I had been dying to read) and I was soooo excited!

ReplyDeleteEep! Happy blogoversary/2nd blog birthday! :D My favorite bookish moment... it's not blog related, but on the release day of Insurgent, I bought Insurgent and took it to school, but to protect it, I wrapped it with a book cover. Like those fabric ones. And everyone was like,"What are you reading?" It was pretty great. What can I say? I'm a bit obsessed with the Divergent trilogy... ;)

ReplyDeleteHappy Blogaversary! :D
I really enjoyed the Smart Chicks tour and getting to meet some amazing authors.
ReplyDeleteI have so many words. And I'm not sure I should leave them all in the comments. But here are a few, so here goes. (And no, this is not for entry into your giveaway, though I am drooling... just a little.)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I'm so glad this has been an amazing year for your career and your blog. No one deserves success more than you. You are so incredibly passionate about your writers you help publicize. You're passionate about the authors you support and promote on your blog. And you're honest but fair when there's a title you don't adore quite as much as you'd hoped to.
I love visiting your blog - though I've been crap at commenting because I have been lazily reading your eNewsletters. But now that your blog is one I'm super jealous of - Parajunkee is amazing - I will be stopping back just to stare and leave more comments.
While the upheaval with your blog partner was saddening, you've totally thrived on your own, you've made this blog your own vision and it totally rocks. And I'm sure is so much less stressful. So YAY!
I am so glad you're still here blogging. Because, and I've told you this before, I would NOT be still blogging if it weren't for you. You are my blogger BFF and without the ability to sob and rant and go a little crazy via DM I would not have made it.
I'm so super happy for you having your TWO YEAR blogoversary and I'm glad to be here to see it go down. Happy blogoversary! <3333
When I got my first signed book from an author, from a giveaway by the author. I heart you, Meg Cabot! It was a fresh, hot-off-the-press paperback version of ABANDON. I got the first signed paperback copy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on two years of blogging! I've had a wonderful total of TWO DAYS! lol. Thank you for the giveaway!
Happy Birthday!!!! You totally deserve all the great things going on!
ReplyDeleteAnd, well, my best bookish moment was... when I actually worked up the courage to open my blog. I'm a newbie and I suck at most things, but I love it!
Getting to talk to one of my favorite authors, Kimberly Derting. I admire her so much and after reviewing one of her books we got to talking. Now I'm even hosting one of her book tours next year, so that was super exciting. Thanks for the giveaway and HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!! <3 <3

When the trailer came out for the Mortal Instruments series!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bookish moment was when Lori Foster emailed ME about a prize. Yep, I got a PERSONAL email from her...yes, that was me you heard "squeeing"! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Seraphina and Shawdow & Bone. Those books were amazing!
ReplyDeleteLoved Insurgent!! Shadow and Bone was also awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe first moment was when I found the Just Evil trilogy and Vickie Mckeehan. The second moment was when I found Tiger Paw by Charles A. Cornell. I joined Goodreads and started my blog, less than a year ago. Since then, I can't even begin to count the hours I have spent online, but I have always been a voracious reader.
ReplyDeleteDiscovering so many new authors and wonderful books!

My favorite book moment was attending BEA for the first time. I was a panelist at the Blogger Convention the day before, then went to BEA and got tons of ARC's and met authors. Meeting Julie Kagawa and Melissa Marr was awesome. Also, I met Jennifer L. Armentrout for the first time. I had no idea two months later I'd be her publicist. Coolness. :-)
