Hey y’all! I’m so happy to be taking part in the Goddess Inheritance

participating because for one thing this is a tribute to Aimee’s books and
secondly this time it is us bloggers who create the whole post as a tribute to
the Goddess Test series! So here’s a little information about the third book in
the series and also make sure to enter the giveaway below!
Love or life.Henry or their child. The end of her family or the end of the world.Kate must choose.During nine months of captivity, Kate Winters has survived a jealous goddess, a vengeful Titan and a pregnancy she never asked for. Now the Queen of the Gods wants her unborn child, and Kate can’t stop her–until Cronus offers a deal.In exchange for her loyalty and devotion, the King of the Titans will spare humanity and let Kate keep her child. Yet even if Kate agrees, he’ll destroy Henry, her mother and the rest of the council. And if she refuses, Cronus will tear the world apart until every last god and mortal is dead. With the fate of everyone she loves resting on her shoulders, Kate must do the impossible: find a way to defeat the most powerful being in existence, even if it costs her everything.Even if it costs her eternity.
For our tour posts this was the topic suggestions we got.
Tour Post: What's Divine About The Goddess Test series?
As you know,
your tour post will be a post by you about “What’s Divine About The Goddess
Test series” where you share your favorite moments, quotes, characters or
whatever you wish to share about this fantastic series!
So that got me to thinking what did I really love about this series?
Well everything!!!
I loved the setting (I’m a huge
Greek Mythology nerd) I loved the modern retelling of the Persephone story; and
there have been a few of those within the past few years but, this one has
become one of my favorites! But I think most of all I love the characters! Not
all of them mind you I don’t think I warmed up to Henry until half way through
book 2 but, I loved Kate, James, Ava, Diana, Xander, hell even Walter, as well
as a few more! What I loved about these people was that even though some of
them were gods they felt like people I could relate to; people who could be in
my life and so I felt myself feeling for them, hurting for them, and loving
them!
To close this up….
I mentioned James above and, I wanted to say that out of all the
characters in the books he is and always will be my favorite. So I chose a
passage between him and Kate because I loved his honesty and his affection for
Kate. And well because I love him J
To my immense
satisfaction, James winced.” Believe what you want, but your deal with Henry is
clear. He has you for six months, no more. You can do whatever you want during
the summer, and he has no say in it.”
“That doesn’t
give me the right to break his damn heart.” I stalked off toward camp. “And it
doesn’t give you the right to try to make me. I can’t believe you, James. Out
of all the nasty things to do, playing me like that--“
“I wasn’t
playing anyone.” He hurried to catch up, and I refused to look at him. “I’m not
doing this for fun, Kate. You’re the one who invited me to go to Greece, and I
said yes because I like spending time with you. And because I wanted to help
you see what you’d be missing if you decided to come back. You can’t yell at me
for that—I behaved. No matter how badly I wanted to kiss you, I never did.”

I love the way the Greek Gods are reimagined in the series
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway!!! Love the retelling and the romance!
ReplyDeleteI love the characters! They have real personalities and flawed, just like in the real myths.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the characters and the mthology! I really like the fact that there's mythology but that they use modern names and all! Also Henry is pretty divine!
ReplyDeleteThe Romance is what makes it divine :)
ReplyDeleteIt's Henry and Kate. They makes the story works.
ReplyDeleteI think the most divine thing about the Goddess Series is how amazingly Aimee Carter ties all the gods' and goddess' stories together to flow together
ReplyDeleteI think the most divine thing is Henry and Kate's relationship. There are so many hardships, but you can just tell that they want no one but each other.
ReplyDeleteHenry & Kate, and their romance. I absolutely love it! One of my favorite Mythological series!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series yet but love the idea of being related to Greek mythology and the beautiful covers!
ReplyDeleteThe most divine part of the whole story is how Kate was able to save Henry even when no one else could.
