here to please! Thanks to the lovely ladies at YA Bound for this awesome meme! I love being
able to a share swoon-worthy snippet with you!
So this week I’ve decided to share a swoon-worthy scene from one of
the books I read a little while ago but it doesn’t come out until June! This
book was awesome and I know you all will be dying to get your hands on it after
this passage!
STAR
CURSED by Jessica Spotswood
This book was awesome and Finn is probably one of my top 10 book
boyfriends. He’s just so dreamy and self-sacrificing. He would do anything for
the girl he loves!
“Cate,” he
murmurs, and his voice is hoarse with wanting.
“I know,” I
stroke his stubbled jaw with one finger, then curl my hands around his waist. I
rest my head against his shoulder, inhaling the scent of tea and ink, of Finn.
Happiness chokes
me.
I didn’t know if
I would ever be able to do this again.
His hands are
tangled in my hair, roaming over my back, tracing the lines of my hips, as if
he’s reassuring himself it’s really me and I’m really here, in his arms, safe
and sound. His lips work their way from my temple to my cheekbone. I tilt my
face up, eager for his kiss.
It does not
disappoint.

Awww, this book sounds yummy! I already had it on my TBR list! The first book was ehhh for me, but I am invested enough to want to read the second. Finn was the only character I really liked in Born Wicked! Glad to hear he's still around in Star Cursed :D
