Ok so I am stoked to have Ann
Aguirre here today! I freaking love her Razorland series its so creepy and amazingly written! I asked for a dream
cast. I thought I’d get a couple but she basically cast the whole series! This
is soooo cool!
Check out the books! If you haven't read ENCLAVE only read the first synopsis!
WELCOME TO THE APOCALYPSE
In Deuce’s world, people earn the right to a name only if they survive their first fifteen years. By that point, each unnamed ‘brat’ has trained into one of three groups–Breeders, Builders, or Hunters, identifiable by the number of scars they bear on their arms. Deuce has wanted to be a Huntress for as long as she can remember.
As a Huntress, her purpose is clear—to brave the dangerous tunnels outside the enclave and bring back meat to feed the group while evading ferocious monsters known as Freaks. She’s worked toward this goal her whole life, and nothing’s going to stop her, not even a beautiful, brooding Hunter named Fade. When the mysterious boy becomes her partner, Deuce’s troubles are just beginning.
Down below, deviation from the rules is punished swiftly and harshly, and Fade doesn’t like following orders. At first Deuce thinks he’s crazy, but as death stalks their sanctuary, and it becomes clear the elders don’t always know best, Deuce wonders if Fade might be telling the truth. Her partner confuses her; she’s never known a boy like him before, as prone to touching her gently as using his knives with feral grace.
As Deuce’s perception shifts, so does the balance in the constant battle for survival. The mindless Freaks, once considered a threat only due to their sheer numbers, show signs of cunning and strategy… but the elders refuse to heed any warnings. Despite imminent disaster, the enclave puts their faith in strictures and sacrifice instead. No matter how she tries, Deuce cannot stem the dark tide that carries her far from the only world she’s ever known.
Deuce’s whole world has changed.
Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn't fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight.
To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out.
Deuce signs up to serve in the summer patrols—those who make sure the planters can work the fields without danger. It should be routine, but things have been changing on the surface, just as they did below ground. The Freaks have grown smarter. They’re watching. Waiting. Planning. The monsters don’t intend to let Salvation survive, and it may take a girl like Deuce to turn back the tide.
The epic conclusion to the USA Today bestselling trilogy.
The horde is coming.
Salvation is surrounded, monsters at the gates, and this time, they're not going away. When Deuce, Fade, Stalker and Tegan set out, the odds are against them. But the odds have been stacked against Deuce from the moment she was born. She might not be a Huntress anymore, but she doesn't run. With her knives in hand and her companions at her side, she will not falter, whether fighting for her life or Fade's love.
Ahead, the battle of a lifetime awaits. Freaks are everywhere, attacking settlements, setting up scouts, perimeters, and patrols. There hasn't been a war like this in centuries, and humans have forgotten how to stand and fight. Unless Deuce can lead them.
This time, however, more than the fate of a single enclave or outpost hangs in the balance. This time, Deuce carries the banner for the survival of all humanity.
Endurance a Razorland Novella only 99 cents!
When rebellion destroys the underground world in which Thimble and Stone have grown up, they take Stone’s son and try to escape the chaos. Along the way, they must evade the Freaks, beings who feed on human flesh. Leaving behind the roles of Builder and Breeder which they were assigned at birth, they wander the underground tunnels, looking for safety yet afraid to go “topside” where legend has it that the light and water will burn their skin from their bones.
Their journey takes them upward to an unimagined world of tinned food, comfortable furniture, and books. Away from their regimented society for the first time, and still facing imminent danger, Thimble and Stone acknowledge the forbidden attraction which both have denied for years.
Now on to the Dream Cast! I have commentary it's in the parenthesis lol

OMG!! I am so in love with your cast list!! Ming-na, Jesse Williams, a Hemsworth, Katee Sackhoff!! *nerd mind explosion*
ReplyDeleteI recently just got bitten by this series, btw, and wrote a review for it here that I would love everyone to check out
I think I pictured deuce more brunette and a bit musclier than chloe????
ReplyDeleteBut omg fade and stalker are so perfect!!!
In my head, I imagined all the characters looking a little older - maybe because they have old souls. But I wholeheartedly agree with the choice for Stalker.
ReplyDeleteThat's one kickass cast! And who doesn't have a girlcrush on Katee?
ReplyDeleteI tend to have a hard time picturing characters in books (they're always fuzzy ideas of humans that I hang info on basically), but casting can feel wrong anyway. This doesn't. And if this would be an actual cast of a movie, hotdamn I'd be there in an instant!
Can't wait to read Horde!
I haven't read the series so can't really comment on the actors in the roles. However, those are some mighty find choices just from an acting standpoint.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have niot read this series yet, but it is on my wishlist!! I cannot really comment on the dream cast although, I must say that it does look like a fabulous cast of characters:)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the dream cast! I think it fits PERFECT with the characters! Bring it on, I can't WAIT for the FINALE! AWESOME Giveaway, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThat really is a huge cast. One choice that I really like is Jesse Williams. He's always been excellent on Grey's Anatomy. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteawesome casting! I totally agree ;) I love Ann's work and I'd read her grocery list! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI can totally picture Chloe Moretz as Deuce now that that idea is in my head. I'm not familiar with Carter Jenkins. I like the rest of the casting too. I generally don't picture characters with that much detail, so I usually like most dream casting (or actual casting, when books are made into movies...(except that one time...)). I focus more on personality and the general feel of a character and the chemistry they have with other characters over how they look when I'm reading or watching the book based movie :)
ReplyDeleteI love this casting! I love Chloe as Deuce, it thinks she's so perfect. I like that all the actors look young enough to play the characters.
ReplyDeleteI can't really argue with an author's casting choices!
ReplyDeleteI can't really argue with an author's casting choices!
ReplyDeleteI can't really argue with an author's casting choices!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for having me on the blog! I'm glad you guys like my casting choices.
ReplyDeleteLove your dream list. Especially Jesse Williams MMMMMMMM
ReplyDeleteChloe is SUCH a great choice for Duece. There needs to be a movie. NOW!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the casting! All great picks!
ReplyDeleteI've only read Enclave, and it's been a while, but I don't think I've met all of those characters, yet. I do absolutely love Chloe Grace Moretz as Deuce. I don't think I would've thought of her, but she's great.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the dream cast!! I agree with everyone that there definitely needs to be a movie! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteRon Pearlman hahaha awesome! I love that creepy picture of Chloe Grace Moretz! Great dream cast!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book yet but I'm quite curious to know the characters since I am familiar with some of the dream cast. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cast they fit perfectly in my head, especially Deuce. You can never go wrong with Ron Pearlman too.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty great cast! I can't think of any changes I'd have to make : )
ReplyDeleteI'm all for anything with a Hemsworth.
ReplyDeleteI love Gavin he has the most beautiful eyes!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book to decide which actors and actresses fit the characters.
ReplyDeleteI've read the first book but now I'm gonna have to read it again to remember all the characters. I remember I really liked it!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see the dream cast in the story!
ReplyDeleteLove the casting! I may have pictured Stalker as a little more brutish, but now that I think about it Austin Butler is kind of perfect. Can't wait for HORDE!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love her choices!! I don't know about Ron Pearlman only because all I have ever seen him in is Hellboy and I am not a huge fan of those kinds of movies. Good Job!!
ReplyDeleteThe dream cast looks pretty good to me! It's nice to put a name to face :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, Jesse Williams *fans self* is so freaking hot! I would be lying if I said he's not one of the reasons I watch Grey's Anatomy ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Chloe as Deuce although that is not how I pictured Fade, but that's ok, I can look at Jesse Williams :D
I pictured Stalker as someone a little more "tough" looking but I completely agree with the choice for Momma Oak: PERFECT!! Everyone else I could totally see too but Imelda Staunton would be so perfect I don't even know where to start :) Great cast
ReplyDeleteAny cast that includes Katee Sackhoff AND Mind-Na Wen has my vote!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Ming-Na as Colonel Park! That's perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe first book is on my huge TBR pile so I can't comment on the characters since I don't know them. However, I like some of the actors listed, especially Chloe Grace Moretz. I'm sure after I read the book I'll come back to this post and either agree completely or be horrified by her choices!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the books yet either, so I don't know if the casting choices fit, though they are certainly intriguing! Seems like there is quite a wide range of character types.
ReplyDeleteSimple but getting it on there takes around even Popcorn Time enjoying your preferred TV collection and movies.
