Hey welcome to the last day of the Top 10 Books of 2013! We hope you all have been having fun! To close out the week we’re looking forward to 2014 so today’s topic is….. Top 10 Books I'm looking forward to in 2014. (This list should be comprised of books released ONLY in 2014)

Ok I’m being a big time cheater here! I’ve read most of these books already but I needed to share how awesome they are on and there’s not a top 10 it’s a top 15! I’ll put READ next to the ones I’ve read lol.

Melissa Landers READ. I have a new book boyfriend and he’s an alien named
Aelyx! Trust me you’re going to want to meet this guy!
9. All that
Glows by Ryan Graudin READ. I’m a sucker for a good Fae book and
this one was right up my alley!
11. Sisters' Fate
by Jessica Spotswood. Star Cursed kicked my ass and I need the final
installment in this series like yesterday!
12. Strange
and Ever After by Susan Dennard. Another book I need like
yesterday! I have to see how this one ends!
13. Silver
Shadows by Richelle
Mead. If you’ve read The Fiery Heart you know why I need this one so bad. If
not go read it now! Richelle likes to kill us slowly with her cliffie endings!!!!!
14. This
Shattered World by Meagan Spooner and Amie Kaufman. I LOVED These
Broken Stars and can’t wait for the next book in this series. It’s a companion
novel but I know it’s going to ROCK!

15. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. I'll admit I'm both excited and scared as hell to read this one. I am Team Warner and I have a bad feeling about him in this. I will freely admit that I will throw this book if something happens to him. If this one ends like the Delirium series, the Divergent series, and the Hunger Games Series did I will be very upset.

I have a horrible horrible feeling about Ignite Me. I heard about Fracture Me and I think it's all one big misdirection. I think Mafi is making everyone think that Warner will end up will Juliette and 90% of the book will be Warner Warner Warner, but that last 10% Adam will sneak in and win. Either that or Warner will 'sacrifice' himself for love. Which is the worse ending you can do for a love triangle. This is what happened in Boundless by Cynthia Hand. (Team Tucker)
ReplyDeleteSilver Shadows! I just finished Richelled's Georgina Kincaid series a few minutes ago (not the first time) and those have the worst cliffhangers EVER!
Cruel Beauty was such an amazing read! I have so much love for that book. And I'm super nervous about Ignite Me as well. I need Warner to be okay. Great picks!

I'm so excited now! :) Ruin and Rising and This Shattered World are both on my list and I'm just DYING for them! I need moreeeee. I'll admit I'm also so scared for Ignite Me! I converted whole-heartedly to Team Warner with Unravel Me, so I'm in the same boat as you! :) Great picks!!

You have a fabulous top '10' (Don't worry, I couldn't just name 10 either so I did 13 lol). I may be reading Her Dark Curiosity before the year is up but I can't wait. I freaking LOVE the first book. It was the very first book I read in 2013 and it's still one of my top reads. So I'm bouncing with excitement for book 2! Also, I read Defy and freaking devoured that. I loved it so so SO much. I didn't put it on my list cause I didn't include ones I've already read but yes, I can't wait to hold that pretty in my hands!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Cruel Beauty right now and I'm enjoying it. It's not a read I've been able to breeze through but it's definitely picked up! I read Cress and LOVED IT SO MUCH! I'm going to read it again when I get my hardcover copy. Her storytelling is just so flawless. I can't wait to read Alienated next month; I've heard really good things about it (and I'm in love with this cover). I read Infinite and LOVED it. I'm obsessed (OBSESSED, I tell you) with the Epilogue. So beautifully done and so flippin perfect! All That Glows is up next on my TBR for next month and my friend really loved that.
Sisters' Fate - OMG, with the way Star Cursed ended, I need this next book like I need air. Strange and Ever After - I can't wait. I seriously can't wait. I adore Susan so much and these books have been fantastic.
And I'm going to stop gushing about books now. You have a freaking fabulous list. <3
Oh I forgot about Defy. I'm really looking forward to that one. Great looking cover and sounds like the kind of fantasy I'll love!!

Ignite Me is definitely my top, and I've seen it on pretty much every list today! I'm Team Warner too but I have a good feeling about it so I'm very excited :P

ReplyDeleteIgnite Me, Infinite, Alienated and Cress are also in mine! Sister's Fate would have been there too, but I reached the 10 books quota with books coming out in the first half of the year, even if I cheated and made two lists: one for sequels and another for debuts or first of a series!

ReplyDeleteOo I haven't started the Divergent series yet so I can't comment there but I was not a fan how HG and Requiem ended at all. Hopefully Ignite Me fares better because that would not be okay.

What an awesome list!!! Several of these made my top of 2014 also!!! I have actually read Defy and it was phenomenal!!!! Now I am wanting Landry Park!!!!
