Top Ten Tuesday (22)- Top 10 Books From My Childhood (Or teen years) That I Would Love To Revisit

Hi thanks for stopping by!!! And welcome to my Top 10 Tuesday post!

Thanks to the lovely ladies at The Broke And The Bookish for creating this weekly meme!

Here's this week's topic.

March 24: Top 10 Books From My Childhood (Or teen years) That I Would Love To Revisit

These are in no particular order just books I want to read this spring. Click on the cover for details

1. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES by L.J. Smith. I read these when they first came out in the 90's when I was a teenager and loved them!

2. THE SECRET CIRCLE by L.J. Smith same as above.

4. THE ARTHURIAN SAGA by Mary Stewart. This is probably one of the best Arthurian Legends I've read. I loved Mary's take on it.

5. THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA by C.S. Lewis. I actually still have a set of these books I really need to read them now that I'm older.

6. DRACULA by Bram Stoker. What can I say? My love for vampires started early ;)

7. THE EARTHSEA CYCLE by Ursula K. Le Guin. Other than Narnia this was my first high fantasy series and I loved it!

8. THE GIVING TREE by Shel Silverstein. I actually re-read this one quite often and it makes me cry more as an adult than it did when I was little.

9. THE DOLLANGANGER Series by V.C. Andrews. I still can't believe I read this in my teens! Flowers in the Attic was crazy! But I'd like to revisit this one too see how much my perspective has changed.

10. THE NEVERENDING STORY by Michael Ende. I loved this book and it will always have a special place in my heart and I love the movie too :)

So this is my list. What about you? What books would you like to revisit?

And come back next week for my Top 10 Books I Recently Added To Your To-Be-Read List

Hugs,
Jaime

  1. My dad was a huge fantasy reader in his younger years and always tries to get me to read The Earthsea Trilogy. I have his old, well-loved copy on my shelf but I've just never gotten around to it. I think all the shiny new books just get in the way!

  2. Loved the Giving Tree and the Chronicles of Narnia! Forgot about Lewis Carroll's books, they were also ones I read when I was younger! Great picks

  3. Oh yes to The Flowers in the Attic series! I think I read that series about five times when I was younger.

  4. I'm so excited to finally get to Flowers in the Attic soon! I haven't let myself watch the Lifetime movies based on the books so the plots for the series books aren't spoiled! I had no idea The Neverending Story was a book before it was a movie! That's definitely one to add to my TBR pile! Happy reading! :)

  5. I didn't know Neverending Story was a book. It makes sense though. It's one of my all time favorite movies from my childhood. I never read Alice in Wonderland until I was an adult. I wish I had. I forgot about The Giving Tree. I've also never read Flowers in the Attic. My mom totally freaked out when she read it, and that should have been my cue to pick it up.
