Hi thanks for stopping by!!! And welcome to my Top 10 Tuesday post!
Thanks to the lovely ladies at The Broke And The Bookish for creating this weekly meme!
Here's this week's topic.
July 7: Top Ten Hyped Books I've Never Read
These aren't in any particular order but all of these have been fantastic books! Click on the book cover to be taken to the book's goodreads page
1. 50 Shades of Grey. Never wanted to read it and never willl.
2. The Fault in Our Stars (or any other John Green book) lets be honest contemporary isn't my favorite genre and I was just never excited about this book.
3. The last 3 Mortal Instruments books. I was done after the first 3 I never saw the need for 3 more. And now there's more Shadowhunter books coming?? Sorry I'm out.
4. The last Lux book by Jennifer Armentrout. I just never got around to it plus I hate the redesigned covers I like books that match.
5. The Dream Thieves and Blue Lily, Lily Blue. I have them but never got around to reading them. I probably will when the series is finished.
6. A Darker Shade of Magic by Victoria Schwab. I love V and have the book just never got around to reading it.
7. The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey. I liked the first book but just didn't have the desire to read the second.
8. The Dust Lands series by Moira Young. Another that I have but just never read.
9. The Queen of Tearling. Never had the desire to read it. I don't care if it's turning into a movie.
10. Any hyped eBook novellas that fit in between stories. I get the publishers like to collect that extra $$$ but I just don't see the need for them and I don't like to read eBooks. Put them in paper format and I might read them.
So this is my list. What about you? What have been your favorite books of 2015 so far?
And come back next week for my Last Ten Books That Came Into My Possession (bought, library, review copies)!
Hugs,
Jaime
I agree about not wanting to read 50 Shades of Grey. I have never been interested in it either and I don't know why and how it became popular.
ReplyDeleteA Darker Shade of Magic was brilliant and definitely worth the time. I've read the first of the Dust Lands books and it was pretty darn good. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT and my current giveaway.
I don't think you're missing much with 50 shades! My TTT!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT overlapped yours a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteThe last Lux book was such a disappointment. I don't read ebook novellas either, if I can help it. The Dustlands series is excellent, though; I definitely recommend it.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! A Darker Shade of Magic made my list this week, too. :) I've read Blood Red Road, and really enjoyed it, but I haven't gotten around to Rebel Heart and Raging Star yet - I'd like to cross them off my TBR this summer, though!
ReplyDeleteGreat list and cosign with mortal instruments and grey series . Read maggie and Victoria :) Best books ever
