Hi thanks for stopping by!!! And welcome to my Top 10 Tuesday post!
Thanks to the lovely ladies at The Broke And The Bookish for creating this weekly meme!
Here's this week's topic.
August 18: Top Ten Of Your Auto-buy Authors.
Most of these are going to be the same as lat week my auto buy authors tend to be the ones I've read the most books by.
1. Maria V. Snyder. I buy everything from her!
2. Melissa Marr. I love Melissa and will buy all of her books even if I don't read them all lol.
3. Julie Kagawa. Julie's been an auto buy ever since I fell for Prince Ash. I've loved every book she's written
4. Jeri Smith-Ready. I buy all of her books YA and Adult.
5. Claudia Gray. I own every book she's ever written and I will buy anything she writes in the future.
6. Richelle Mead. I have buy all of her books except for her adult ones.
7. Lesley Livingston. I adore everything she writes!
8. Rae Carson. As long as she keeps writing amazing fantasy books I will buy the shit out of them.
9. Morgan Rhodes/Michelle Rowen. I have loved all of her books!
10. Sarah J. Maas. Same as Rae. As long as she keeps writing amazing fantasy books I will buy the shit out of them.
So what about you? Who are your auto buy authors? And come back next week for my Top Ten Books That Would Be On Your Syllabus If You Taught X 101 (I think I'll be doing YA Fantasy 101)!
Hugs,
Jaime
Sadly for my wallet, this list could've been so much longer. The ten authors I chose were striking talents that I thought would appeal to a larger variety of readers. However, even now as I view my TTT List, there's actually very little deviation among what these authors write.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I could've added quite a few of yours to my list and still been delighted in my choices. Of course it would've not been the neat ten that it is suppose to be. :)
I recently read my first Claudia Gray book, A Thousand Pieces of You, and I loved it so much that I can't wait for the sequel. I felt like I couldn't put her on my TTT list because I've only read one :( I did however, include Sarah J Maas on my list, because I just love everything she writes including her web series with Susan Dennard!
ReplyDeleteI love Sarah J. Maas and I will buy anything she comes out with, so of course she's on my list too. I'm going to have to look into the other authors on your list because I don't think I have read any of their books.
ReplyDeleteMead made my list this week too. I am so excited to see what she does with Soundless, the release day cannot come soon enough! Great list :)
ReplyDeleteYou have several new-to-me authors this week. I like that.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten!
Great list, thanks - all these authors are pretty new to me, but then, I'm not in fantasy and YA a lot. Here my TTT: http://earthianhivemind.net/2015/08/18/top-ten-autobuy-authors/
ReplyDeleteI have two of these in my list as well (Sarah Maas and Rae Carson). I love a lot of these too, especially Julie Kagawa and Richelle Mead. Great list Jamie!
ReplyDeleteThe only author I share with you is Claudia Gray. I've read two of her books -- "Spellcaster" and "A Thousand Pieces of You", and I've greatly enjoyed them!
ReplyDeleteThe others are all authors I definitely want to read! I'll probably start with Sarah J. Maas, since I've just bought "A Court of Thorns and Roses".
Thanks for sharing, and Happy Reading!! : )
Here's my own Top Ten list:
