I decided to do Debut Authors since there are so many good ones
this year! All of the links go to their twitter accounts so if you don’t follow
them go do it! They are definitely not in order. If I could I would have made
them all #1!
1. Renee Ahdieh. THE WRATH & THE DAWN was one of my top 5 favorite books of 2015! I can't wait for it's sequel!
2. Sabaa Tahir. AN EMBER IN THE ASHES also makes my top ten list this year. I need the sequel now!
3. Jennifer Jenkins. I freaking loved NAMELESS and I adore Jennifer. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.
4. Becky Wallace. I freaking loved THE STORYSPINNER so much that I actually read the sequel, THE SKYLIGHTER already so I'm cheating with this one lol.
5. Virginia Boecker. THE WITCH HUNTER was an awesome fantasy with historical elements. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series!
6. Melissa Grey. THE GIRL AT MIDNIGHT surprised the hell out of me! I knew I'd like it but I didn't think I'd love it as much as I did and I can't wait for book 2!
7. Eleanor Herman. Oh technically she's not a debut but LEGACY OF KINGS was her YA debut and it was flipping amazing!
8. Rhiannon Thomas. I loved her Sleeping Beauty retelling, A WICKED THING and can't wait to read book 2!
9. Stacey Lee. I will admit I haven't read her books yet but I adore Stacey and she's a local author so gotta add her to the list :)
10. Melinda Salisbury. THE SIN EATER'S DAUGHTER will also make my top 10's lists I can't wait for the sequel!!!!
Did any of my favorites make your list? Fill out the linky and
let me know! And good luck with the giveaway!
And remember to stop by my co-hosts sites Reading YA Rocks, Tales of a Ravenous Reader,

Urban Fantasy Reads for their lists and one of them is hosting a giveaway today but I'm not saying who you'll just have to visit all 3!
I enjoyed so many of these Authors debuts as well! Love talking fantasy books and seeing someone with taste so similar to mine
ReplyDeleteThis is another great list! There are so many books on your list that I want to read!!
ReplyDeleteI was so bad at reading debuts this year. I need to do better in 2016. The only book on your list I read is A Wicked Thing but I really loved that one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list. This year was crackin' for debut authors and their books were seriously amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow! You read so many great debut authors this year! I'm not even sure I name two debut authors that I read in 2015. I'm going to have to do better with that especially since a couple of these are even on my wishlist!
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited about reading The Witch Hunter!
I'm really bad about reading debut authors :( I'm hoping to do better in 2016! I do add their books to Goodreads, but I just never get around to reading the books the year they come out.
ReplyDeleteGreat topic! This was such a great year for debuts. I have a feeling next year will be just as amazing! I still nedd to read a few of these but I LOVE THE SKYLIGHTER! I am distraught that the series is over.
ReplyDelete<3 Britt
LOVED so many of your debuts. And arrgh as I read LEGACY OF KINGS in 2014 and SIN EATER's DAUGHTER they couldn't make ANY of my lists though I loved them both so much!
ReplyDeleteYour firs two are definitely my top two debut reads/authors! I can't wait to read their sequels. So close but really just so far away!
ReplyDeleteLovely choices, Jaime! :)
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I haven't read any of these, but most are on my wishlist. I am especially intrigued by The Storyspinner, The Sin Eater's Daughter, and The Wrath and the Dawn.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED An Ember in the Ashes and The Girl at Midnight. I also really enjoyed reading The Witch Hunter. I am looking forward to reading The Storyspinner, I just bought a copy of it last month. And I'm currently reading A Wicked Thing, I hope I will like it as much as you have!
ReplyDeleteWonderful list of Debuts!
