you could stop by for a chat! NATURAL PASSION sounds AWESOME and I can’t wait
for everyone to read it!
For the readers:
can you tell us a little bit about the NATURAL PASSION and the characters?
Natural Passion takes place at a naturist
(nudist) resort in Oregon, and the guests are a cast of fun and kind of wacky
characters who have become like a family. The same people often come back year
after year. The heroine, Eve Holt, owns the resort but is not a nudist. Her
newest guest, Val Silva, is a bad boy exhibitionist and a shameless nudist.
He's also super hot!
What are you
working on now?
I'm always working on multiple stories. I'm
writing Natural Impulse, the second book in the Au Naturel series, as well as
Irresistible in a Kilt, the eighth book my Hot Scots series (contemporary
romance). There's also Obsidian Hunger, the fourth book in my Undercover Elementals
series of paranormal romances.
Were any of the
characters in the book inspired by people from your real life?
No, not really. I mean, they're mostly
nudists. 😊 I once lived
near a nudist camp, but I never met the people who stayed there. Natural
Passion was partly inspired by that nudist camp.
Who was your
favorite character to write? What about your least favorite?
I loved writing Val. He's such an unabashed
nudist and not at all ashamed of his past and the sex tape that made him an
internet sensation. His wild side drives a lot of the humor and a lot of the
steamy scenes in the book. I can't say I have an unfavorite character. I enjoy
writing all of them, even the rotten ones.
What is your
favorite passages/scenes in NATURAL PASSION?
One of my favorite scenes is when Val cooks a
big Brazilian breakfast for Eve. I also love the comedy scenes, one of which
involves a porcupine. I'll leave that one to your imagination!
What kind of
research did you have to do for the story?
I researched the nudist lifestyle so I could
write believable nudist characters. I learned there are rules to nudism, which
I mention in the book, and that nudists invented their own tennis-inspired game
called miniten. Some people prefer to be called naturists, and I take advantage
of the possible misinterpretations of that term for one of my favorite funny
scenes in this book.
Who is your
ultimate book boyfriend?
I will always adore Adam Black from The
Immortal Highlander. He's so funny and so hot!
What inspired you
to write romance?
One day I realized all my favorite books had
one thing in common: romance! Whether it's Dean Koontz's Lightning or Jane
Austen's Pride and Prejudice, it's the romance element that makes me love those
books. Why not write romance? So I did!

Facebook?
It's hard to choose. I like the brevity of
Twitter, but sometimes I want to go a little
longer and Facebook is better for
that.

Superhero?
Thor. When he looks like Chris Hemsworth.
Favorite TV show?
Lucifer. He's just so naughty and funny!
Sweet or Salty?
Both. Sweet, then salty.
Any Phobias?
Snakes. They're so slithery…

2020 Movie you’re
most looking forward to?
Not sure what's coming out this year. I've been too busy writing to
check on that!
