Books I’m glad you could stop by for a chat! MY BILLIONAIRE FAKE FIANCE sounds
AWESOME and I can’t wait for everyone to read it!
Thank you so much for having me. I’m excited to be here!
For the readers: can
you tell us a little bit about the MY BILLIONAIRE FAKE FIANCE and the
characters?
It was such a fun
story to write. Chase and Kaylee are so cute and steamy together. I thought we could all use a little bit of
escapism this summer, so I spent mine writing a fun, sexy, rom-com on the
beach.
What are you working
on now?
I’m working on book
2 in the Beaky Tiki series. It’s about Fi, one of Kaylee’s best friends. She’s
a fiery, strong character and she’s met her match in an enemies-to-lovers romance.
It’s been fun to write so far.
Were any of the
characters in the book inspired by people from your real life?
I’d have to say no,
they are definitely fictional characters.
Who was your favorite
character to write? What about your least favorite?
Kaylee for sure was
my favorite. She has a fun inner monologue that kept me on my toes. Also,
Ashley, Chase’s sister turned out to be funnier than I expected. I would love
to write a future book in the series with Ashley’s HEA.
What is your favorite
passages/scenes in MY BILLIONAIRE FAKE FIANCE?
My favorite scene is
very early on. It’s the one with the coconut monkeys. I remember writing it and
showing my friend this really crazy scene and she loved it.
What kind of research
did you have to do for the story?
I did some enjoyable
research on beach resorts and outdoor beach bars and now I have a list of
places I want to visit. One of the
hotels I based the book on was the Hotel Del Coronado in California. I’d love
to visit that one soon.
Who is your ultimate
book boyfriend?
I really liked Court
from Stealing The Bride.
What inspired you to
write romance?
Romcoms with sassy
heroines. I love the movies and books. There are so many ways to see these
relationships develop and to have fun with it.

I just started
reading Lovewrecked and it’s fantastic. IOU is next on my TBR list.
