How did you do research for your book?
The research for all of my books simply comes from a rich family tradition of telling stories about our ornament collection. This is a tradition that is shared by families throughout the world, so my stories, although focused on one family’s collection of ornaments is really a story of all families and their own traditions.
There are
many books out there about....What makes yours different?
This
is the first ever Christmas series, and it’s the first widely distributed book
about ornaments.
In your
book you make a reference to....how did you come up with this idea?
We
incorporate the line, Every Ornament Tells a Story, into every book (in fact,
we’ve trademarked the line). This is again personal and based on my own
family’s tradition of telling stories about our ornaments.
What is
your next project?
We’ll
be releasing the fourth book in our series next year, Oliver the Ornament Meets
Frasier and Merry. We’re also working on a spin-off book entitled, Oliver’s
First Day of School.
