Top 5 favorite scenes and why.

My favorite scenes? That’s so hard!!

Okay, I’ll try.

If I had to choose, I really love the scene in the archives between Lanira and Ilnor. I’ve had some readers question this scene and don’t seem to really love it. I know my characters better than anyone, and they’ve been with me a long time before they became who they are now, so I absolutely love this tenderness between them.

The second is the bathhouse scene between Lanira and Siobhan. It’s the first truly steamy scene of the book, and the start of their physical relationship.

But my third would be when their relationship really begins - on the battlements overlooking Unara. It’s lightly flirty, and very sweet.

My fourth favorite… Probably the scene in the mountains when we first meet the Goran. I creeped myself out with that one! A long time ago, I wrote mostly thriller/horror type stories, and this took me back to my roots a bit.

Last, but definitely not least, when Lanira finally deals with Talor. It’s the first major fight scene I’ve ever written, and it was so much fun! It’s also a reader favorite.
