The highly anticipated fifth and final book in the bestselling Stranje House series.
What if you'd been born at a dangerous and superstitious time two centuries ago... and you had the unusual ability to see not only the tangible world but also the spiritual and emotional realms?
When her family banishes her to Stranje House, Sera learns the importance of keeping some things secret.
At Stranje house, a school for unusual girls, Sera hides her abilities but finds friendship among the other girls who each possess remarkable talents. These outcast young women are secretly being trained to enter the perilous world of espionage, diplomacy, and war.
Conquering
Europe wasn't enough; now Napoleon wants Britain. He and his band of assassins
and spies, the Iron Crown, led by the ruthless Ghost, have abducted the Prince
Regent. With Britain teetering on ruin, the young ladies of Stranje House must
join the desperate hunt to find the Prince before it's too late. Now, more than
ever, Sera's secret gifts are needed to help avert disaster. Dare she risk it?
Amid the
chaos, Sera discovers the only person who truly understands her is the one man
they all fear. The man set on destroying England. Can she save her homeland and
her heart... from Ghost?

Top 5 Favorite Movies
& Streaming Video and Why
These are
my top favorite movies and streaming video lately. Tastes change. And I’m
pretty sure neither one of us would enjoy the movies I liked when I was sixteen
because they would seem so archaic now.
❶ Enola Holmes. I’m a sucker for smart fearless historical heroines (obviously, since my Stranje House series is packed with them. LOL!) This movie was so much fun that I watched it twice. Not only that but I read the books afterward.
❷ Dune—the remake that
came out in 2021. Not the old one, this new 2021 version is way better and much
closer to the books. Why do I like it? Because Dune by Frank Herbert is one of
my all-time favorite books. If you haven’t read it yet I highly recommend it.
❸ Extraordinary Woo Young Woo is a streaming Korean series that completely charmed me. Woo Young Woo is on the spectrum, but she’s super intelligent. She lands a job as an attorney and whenever the case is in trouble, and she gets a solution, her hair blows and a whale or a dolphin swims past. It’s both touching and enchanting with a sweet love story, and some enjoyable twists in each episode.
❹ I also fell in love with another Korean
streaming video series called The Alchemy of Souls. I love the heroine
in this series because she is so irascible and yet loveable, powerful yet
without power, caring yet harsh. It’s extremely difficult to create a character
like that and have it work so beautifully. But they did it!
They did what every good story ought to do. They
made me laugh cry and surprised me at every turn. The first two seasons are amazing,
the last season floundered a little, but the first two seasons were brilliant.
❺The 2022 remake of
Persuasion is oodles
of fun. I quite like that the main character Anne talks to us in modern
vernacular asides throughout the film. It was a total delight and I have
watched it twice.
Here’s a fun
trailer that shows you exactly what I mean about her fun asides to the audience:
