Review Policy
Authors, publicists, and publishers - thank you for considering Two
Chicks on Books to read and review your novels. NOTE- I am taking review requests based on my interest level of the book pitched.
My reviews and any guest reviews will
include:
Title and author, publisher, page length, release date, ISBN, my
rating, cover art, synopsis from Goodreads or publisher/author's website, my
review, the source from whom I received the book, as well as links to
Amazon.
My Rating System:
I do not use a star rating system for my book reviews if you
would like to see how I rate here it is. (I only felt like the first needed an
explanation.) Obsessed= Mind Blown, Out of this World, Awesome!!!!!

Liked, So-So, Not For Me.
We will use a star rating on Goodreads.
I will try to read and review all ARCs before their release date. If
there is a time preference, please specify in your request. Also I review books for the
San Francisco/Sacramento Book Review. Please take into consideration that even
though I may accept all requests; I do not guarantee a review post. I try to be
honest and fair so if I don’t finish the book there will not be a review.
Genres that I will and will not accept:
I read YA, New Adult, & Adult fiction with the exception of contemporary. As of now I am almost exclusively reading Reverse Harem Adult and New Adult Fiction.
Genres I Will accept:
Reverse Harem (no contemproary), Paranormal, YA Paranormal, Dystopian, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, and
Science Fiction
Genres I Will Not accept:
Contemporary Fiction, Nonfiction (i.e. autobiographies/biographies/memoirs), Horror, and
titles with religious undertones.
If you feel that I will enjoy your novel, send me a
request. But make sure to look at my previous reviews for a better grasp of
what I read and review.
My reviews will be posted on: Two Chicks on
Books, Goodreads, Amazon, and links will be posted to my Facebook
page and Twitter.
Series: If you are requesting for me to read a book in a
series, please be willing to provide the previous books in that series. In
doing so, I will grasp a better understanding of the book and the series and
that will reflect in my reviews.
Formats that I will accept: I will
accept all forms of books. Also I accept Mobi files and PDF’s only under
special circumstances. But hard copies of the books are preferable.
Author Interviews/Guest Posts/Giveaways:
Two Chicks on Books will be delighted to host an author interview, a
guest post, and a giveaway at the author and/or publisher's request.
